Move to Campus Domain at Bailey/Howe and Cook libraries

Last week, Paul and I met with Geoff Duke and Greg MacKinnon, about moving the library faculty and staff to the campus domain. I believe the public workstations will also eventually move from “zoodom” to the campus domain.

My first piece of work to implement this move is to take a complete inventory of our domain. I discovered a good tool for documenting user file permissions. It’s showacls and the syntax is showacls /s d:\ except this doesn’t work when it reaches the bhshares directory. Then it sort of goes into an endless loop so I have to document each share separately.
