We entered the Sky Battle Cup. It started a couple of weeks or more ago but we just competed in our first race. We didn’t do so hot. I was 81st and Pusstoe tied for 88th with 19 other people!
We were very excited (and nervous) about this race because there are a huge number of contestants and since everyone must join the race within the same half hour time slot, there are often 32 pilots flying on the same server. As it turned out, worries about sharing airspace with so many competitors was anti-climactic. We were both disconnected before the race start!
The task was not an easy one. I am very anxious to download some of the best performances to analyze in SeeYou or Condor, or fly against the ghost of someone like Sandor Laurinyecz, one of the top competitors and currently first in the series.
Here is the competition info that was posted on the Condor Site.
