CWC 2013 Day 5 is a bust

This is getting extremely frustrating—three quarters of the way toward the finish yesterday, the Condor screen went black. I also forgot that I could have tried to keep flying using XCSoar because Condor was still operating behind the scenes. Instead I switched to the desktop, closed the Condor window, renamed last.flt to cwc-2013-5-kk7.flt and uploaded it. It wouldn’t have been easy to land blind in this terrain but there was at least a chance. My flight was scored as a crash anyway. I could have extended my flight using XCSoar and autopilot. If I could have pulled off a safe landing blind, I would have moved my position up considerably.

Here is the track of my flight showing where I ended it:

I had the last turnpoint made, which looks like a green valley so I could possibly have landed there safely! From now on, I will always be ready to try this if I lose my screen again.

Last night I gathered together the errorlog.txt file from the condor directory and attached it to an email with an explanation of what happened. Hopefully I will hear back from Condor support. This is getting very annoying!
